Nusa Compute Network
What we collect
Nusa Compute Network is running a device compute census. To take part, you’ll be sharing these things with us:
- Account details — the account ID, email address, profile picture and public display name from the Google, X, or GitHub account you signed in with. A sign-in token is used only while your session is active, and isn’t stored afterwards.
- Device details — GPU model, CPU core count, memory size, and your browser and operating system
- Benchmark result — the score from a light computation that runs for about 2 seconds
- Anti-abuse signals — your screen resolution, time zone, graphics tier, browser and operating system, how long the page took between loading and submission, and the result of a Cloudflare Turnstile check. We read these once, at the moment you submit, to confirm the submission comes from a real person and isn’t a duplicate.
- Network location — your IP address, and the approximate area it points to (country and city level)
If you choose to join the waitlist, we’ll also keep the email address you enter there, and use it only to contact you about the waitlist. That part is optional — leave it blank and nothing changes, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
That’s the whole list. We don’t collect sensitive information such as health, biometric, racial or ethnic origin, religious belief, political opinion, or sexual orientation.
What we don’t do
- We don’t ask for browser location permission, and we don’t read GPS or precise coordinates
- We don’t ask you to download or install anything
- When you close the page, the test stops — nothing keeps running in the background
- We don’t control your device remotely, and we don’t send it any real workloads
- We don’t sell your personal data, trade it, or share it for advertising — that applies to everyone, including anyone under 18
- We don’t make automated decisions about you that carry legal or similarly significant consequences. Automated checks may stop a submission that looks like a duplicate or a bot, but that affects nothing else — you can try again, or write to us if you think a check got it wrong.
⚠ If we can’t determine your location from your IP, this submission will stop. You can try again later.
Why we need each piece, and what allows us to use it
| What | Why | What allows us |
| Device details, benchmark score |
To map the compute capacity available across the network |
Your consent |
| IP address, approximate location |
To show how that capacity is distributed geographically |
Your consent |
| Account ID, email, display name |
To sign you in and keep your submission attached to your account |
To provide the service you asked for |
| Anti-abuse signals, IP address, account |
To confirm submissions come from real people, and to spot duplicates and keep the service secure |
Our legitimate interest in accurate statistics and a secure service |
| Waitlist email (optional) |
To contact you about the waitlist |
Your consent, given separately |
Your device data is published only as anonymous, aggregated statistics. We never publish individual device records, your identity, your full IP address, or your precise location.
Where we rely on legitimate interest, we’ve weighed it against your rights and concluded it doesn’t override them. You can object at any time — just write to us.

How long we keep it
Your account details, device details, benchmark score and anti-abuse signals stay with us for as long as your account is open, or until you ask us to delete them. If you joined the waitlist, we keep that email address until you unsubscribe.
We don’t store your full IP address alongside your submission. We use it to look up your approximate location and to check the submission isn’t a duplicate, then keep only a shortened version. Your full IP address does appear in our server security logs, which are overwritten within 30 days.
Aggregated statistics are anonymous and can no longer be traced to anyone, so we keep those indefinitely.
Your choices and your rights
Taking part is entirely up to you. You’re under no legal or contractual obligation to share any of this. If you’d rather not, you simply won’t be able to run the benchmark or submit your device — you can still browse the site and view the published statistics, and nothing else changes for you.
If you do take part, you can change your mind at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it — one click in your account settings. Withdrawing doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew.
You can also ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your data
- Restrict how we use it
- Send it to you in a structured, machine-readable format, or pass it to another provider
- Stop processing based on our legitimate interest
Use the controls in your account settings, or write to us at the email address above. You can also appoint someone to make a request on your behalf. Exercising any of these is free, we won’t treat you differently for asking, and we’ll respond within 30 days — if a request is unusually complex we may need up to two months more, and we’ll tell you why.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live — the supervisory authority in your EU member state, the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, or the relevant authority in your country. Because we are established in the Cayman Islands, you can also complain to the Cayman Islands Ombudsman. Either way, you can also go to court.
By selecting “Agree and start test”, you’re telling us you’ve read the above and agree to us collecting and using your device and location information as described. You can withdraw that agreement and delete your data at any time in your account settings.
If the user declines
You’ve chosen not to share your device and location information. We won’t run the test, and we haven’t kept anything.
You can still browse the site and see the published statistics. If you change your mind, come back to this page any time.
Withdrawing consent
We’ll stop using your device and location information straight away, and remove it from our systems within 30 days. Withdrawing doesn’t affect anything we did while your consent was in place. Statistics we’ve already published are aggregated and can’t be traced back to you, so those won’t change.
