This site (Noetic Compute Census, the "Site") runs a survey of shared compute. The following disclosures follow the notification duties under Article 8 of Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
1. Data controller & contact
The Site operator. To exercise your rights or make an enquiry, email privacy@example.com.
2. Purpose of collection
- Statistical research and analysis for the shared-compute census.
- Site management to prevent abuse and spam.

4. Period, region, recipients & method of use
- Period: as listed in the table above.
- Region: Taiwan and the locations of the Site's servers / CDN.
- Recipients: the Site only. Cloudflare, the hosting provider, and the email provider act as commissioned infrastructure processors; no marketing use and no sale to third parties.
- Method: electronic processing; publicly presented only as anonymous aggregate statistics and de-identified participation records (leaderboard / browse lists).
5. Your rights
You may, with respect to the personal data the Site holds, exercise the rights to inquire / review, obtain a copy, supplement or correct, request cessation of collection, processing or use, and request deletion. To exercise them, email privacy@example.com with your submission id or verified email.
6. Effect of not providing data
Email and precise location are optional; not providing them only means you cannot obtain the verification badge and precise map point, and does not affect participation in the survey.
GDPR addendum
If you are located in Europe: the legal bases for processing are consent (email / precise location) and legitimate interests (abuse prevention, statistics). Data may be transferred outside the EU and is protected under Standard Contractual Clauses.
